OUR STORY

Stephanie and Lawrence spent 25 years as advertising photographers before deciding, in 2017, to pack up and move to Bali for three years with their youngest, Cleo. When they returned, their focus had shifted—from creating images for corporate America to cultivating a small garden just around the corner from their home.

They originally purchased the property in 2005, and over the years it has worn many hats: a sculptor’s outdoor studio, construction storage for the Watershed remodel, and now, a lush little oasis in the heart of downtown Petaluma.

From Bali, Steph and Lawrence brought back a collection of treasures — a pergola, a gladak, and hand-carved wooden benches — infusing the space with the warmth and spirit of Southeast Asia.

The addition of a vintage Airstream in 2019 completed the scene; there’s truly nowhere left to build, only room to grow.

After years of tending and evolving, the garden has finally reached a place where it’s ready to be shared with the world.
